Oh full moon
as if all this snow
came from you

On wintry days
I also clench my hands -
Snow covered branch

White seeds fall
we harvest the fruit
in snowballs

High noon sun -
Today I can’t melt this
snow either

Fat birds roosting
above unmelting ice.
I button my coat

Evening winter wind
shakes my desk lamp and leaves -
an undisturbed bulb
